The arrival card does not replace a visa. Many nationalities can obtain a Visa on Arrival (VOA) valid for 30 days upon landing in Indonesia, or apply for an e-Visa before departure. However, requirements vary by nationality. The AIAC and visa are two separate and complementary formalities. The arrival card is mandatory regardless of your visa status.
